Functions


The Function element can be used to pass data and control information to the respective document functions. The function element has the same structure for each document function, only the arguments and settings are different in each case.

The id is used to define the document function to be called. The attribute name is optional, but is helpful for readability.

The ids of the document functions can be found in the list of document functions. The most commonly used ones are described in a bit more detail and supplemented with examples below.
