Microsoft Teams
primedocs is available directly in Microsoft Teams. You can open the primedocs web application without leaving Teams, create documents from templates, and have the resulting files saved automatically.
Two Ways to Use primedocs in Teams
As a Personal App
When primedocs is installed as a Teams app, you can open it from the Teams sidebar or app launcher. Documents you create are saved automatically to your OneDrive.
As a Channel Tab
primedocs can also be added as a tab to a Teams channel. Documents created from the tab are saved into the channel's SharePoint folder, making them immediately accessible to all channel members.
Creating a Document in Teams
- Open the primedocs app or channel tab in Teams.
- Select the desired template from the list.
- Fill in the form fields and click Create document.
- The document is saved to your OneDrive (personal app) or the channel folder (channel tab).
You need a Microsoft 365 (Entra ID / Azure Active Directory) login to use the Teams integration. Only web-compatible primedocs templates are supported.
Requirements
The Teams app must be installed and configured by your administrator. See Teams Web Integration for technical details.
