PowerPoint Table of Contents

The table of contents is a special template type that defines the visual design of a presentation's automatically generated table of contents.

Creating

  1. Activate the administration view and select «New Template».
  2. Give the table of contents a name and select «PowerPoint Table of Contents» (Microsoft PowerPoint category).
  3. Set the «Based on» field to the corresponding Master template.
  4. Open the editor, insert your agenda slide and delete all content placeholders except the slide title.

Defining the agenda shapes

Insert three shapes and format them according to your corporate design:

  • a shape for the entry (title),
  • a shape for the page number,
  • a shape that determines the spacing between entries.

So that primedocs can work with these shapes, assign the respective function via the editing tools at the top left:

ShapeButton
Entry shape«Define agenda title»
Page number«Define agenda slide numbers»
Spacing between entries«Define agenda spacing»
Height area (highlighted grey)«Define agenda height area»

The height area defines the available vertical space: as soon as the table of contents grows beyond the defined area, primedocs automatically creates a new slide on which the table of contents continues.

note

Finally — before saving the template — set all agenda shapes to «No fill» (tab Shape Format → Fill → No Fill).
