    • The Export button is always available, i.e. an export is possible at every packaging step (it simply exports whatever is selected across all steps).

Completing the Package Export

  • Once you are sure that everything needed has been selected, click "Export".
  • After the export is complete, the following window appears:

  • The browser now downloads the file to your PC.
  • You then find the file in File Explorer wherever your browser stores it (usually under Downloads).

Database Export

tip

We recommend database exports before server updates, before major changes to your template solution, and simply for backup purposes.

  • Click the gear icon at the top right and select "database" → "export".

  • Select which type of database export you want to perform:
    • Datasource Export: This is the conventional database export. Files created from this export cannot be imported across versions.
    • DACPAC Export: This export variant allows a cross-version import and is therefore more flexible. Choose this variant if you want to create a backup or send the export to PrimeSoft Support.
  • The zip file or the dacpac file is downloaded by your browser.
  • You then find the file in File Explorer wherever your browser stores it (usually under Downloads).
warning

The "export" pop-up window does not close automatically when the download has finished. Close it by clicking Close.
