External File for Distribution
The External File for Distribution template type provides a file for users that is downloaded automatically when accessed — without primedocs opening the file directly. The file is packaged as a ZIP archive, and the user can extract the contents and use them manually.

- Distributing device drivers or setup files
- Providing installation packages or scripts
- Automated distribution of configuration files to client machines

Creating
- Switch to the administrator view and select «New Template».
- Give the template a name.
- Select «External File for Distribution» as the template type (category «Other»).
- Open the template editor and upload the desired file.
